    Hi All, GIS and Remote Sensing professional from Southern Africa. Have been working in and around GIS and RS for the past 10 years. Really glad I found this site and am looking forward to sharing and contributing to the community. My interests going forward are in web based gis / enterprise gis systems and machine learning applications for remote sensing data analysis. I hope to learn and also contribute. I have been using R for a lot of my data processing but am looking to move toward python using the QGIS interface as an IDE. R is not great for large data sets and the data structures drive me to drink! Trust you are all well. P
