wow , finally we can use our own phone to do LIDAR surveying

you should ask your network administrator to gives open port to your server, via NAT or DMZ setting from router, so your server can go online, the point is, server should have public IP, so webserver can be accessed from outside

the backgrounds and themes are fine for me,

Universal Map Downloader jauh lebih efektif dan efisien untuk download data dari google, apalagi versi 6.07 ke atas, link download ada di sub forum software

for tackling the misalignment problem, if you use ILWIS, you can use glue maps tool to align and refer a raster into another raster, but yes, the process will make another resampling process, and you know consequences of more resampling

why resolution is not exactly equal to the mentioned one?

based on my experiences, its caused by coordinate system transformation, like latlong to utm vice versa -
How to build web application based on google earth/maps
pasfans01 replied to lacocaraca's topic in WebGIS
you can create similar using google earth gadget from this link [hide] http://www.gmodules.com/ig/creator?synd=open&url=http://code.google.com/apis/kml/embed/embedkmlgadget.xml [/hide] for your own data, just placed your KML/KMZ data to your server and accessible from webserver, then placed it to URL bar, the built application can be embedded into html page and could be customized more using javascript and google earth API -

kalo resolusi tinggi mah susah kang nyari yang gratis, kecuali mau pake google, bing dan sebangsanya, downloadnya bisa pake universal map downloader, keluarannya dah citra google resolusi tinggi plus informasi georeferensinya -

How to classify forest/land covers using Landsat imagery
pasfans01 replied to skylmla's topic in Remote Sensing
just for your information if you may be not know yet, GLCF has just released new landsat surface reflectance dataset into its portal, its been orthorectified and atmospheric corrected also, so you can use it to classify vegetation and other landcover check it out at http://landcover.org/data/gls_SR/ -
or maybe you can use recently launched high end multispectral sensors like rapideye and worldview-2, both of them have red edge band, for the reflectance calculation in ENVI, you can use FLAASH, QUAC, or gain offset approach, details about three methods I mentioned can be found in ENVI help and ENVI user guide

I am still little bit confused about IAS, does it some kind of image server software like ArcGIS Image server/ERDAS Apollo or something else?
-
oh also dont forget to check your memory/RAM allocation, If you running many software at same time while you re exporting your map in arcmap, its likely your arcmap is almost running out of memory, so it can't export perfectly, restart your computer, and make sure you dont open many software while you re exporting a map

ERDAS Releases ECW for ArcGIS Server, Version 11.0.2
pasfans01 replied to EmperoR's topic in Jobs and Schedules
yes, I just recently know that we can use ECW freely at arcgis desktop, but not with the arcgis server, we need that plugins in order to display ECW files to our webmap application, -
it is angle between sensor looking position and horizontal plane, we can call it nadir and off nadir, nadir viewing means sensor and horizontal plane have 90 degrees angle, and vice versa, CMIIW and pardon my english

I have other method in order to create good slope polygon map 1. First, create slope map from DEM, reclassify it into desired slope class 2. Apply majority filter to the slope class map in order to remove patchy pixel 3. convert the majority filtered slope raster into vector polygon 4. eliminate the slivers polygon (polygon that have area below minimal mapping unit of certain scale) using eliminate tool in ArcGIS (data management tools>generalization>eliminate)

use ERDAS IMAGINE INSAR DEM mod, they have nice tutorial at their help resources, may be it can help a bit, hehe
-
damn, I shouldnt buy BlackBerry yesterday, hehe
-
I think you can try both Mod, ERDAS has tools to do both, If you want to use stereoscopic, You can use IMAGINE Stereo SAR DEM extraction module, and for interferometric, you can use IMAGINE INSAR DEM extraction module, to do stereoscopic processing,U must have 2 images at different date or angle (not polarization, sorry), but viewing the same areas, U can try using pre and post disaster images to do stereoscopic modelling and extract the DEM, the disadvantages of stereoscopic is, you will need many high quality GCPs in order to extract Absolute DEM, the GCPs will be used to model the sensor geometry, calculate the paralax, then onvert the paralax image to elevation using height data from the GCPs, at stereoscopic side, the problem about your data is, if you have only 2 datasets (pre and post disaster), I am afraid the landcover and terrain condition of the study area has been changed due to the disaster, so at those kind of landcover/terrain, paralax generation will fail, and DEM creation will fail too at that kind of area, stereoscopic processing need the landcover/terrain not too changed or just slightly changed, so epipolar image generation could be done by the software, and paralax could be computed, I am not really sure about interferometric processing, because I dont have any experinces about it but I suggest you try it using multipolarization data (HH and HV) at same date, interferometric principles actually pretty much same with stereoscopic principles, but it use differences radar range/signal travel time instead of stereo geometry (stereoscopic approach). interferometric processing will result interferogram that correspond with elevation differences of earth surface, and using one or two high quality GCPs as the datum, the resulted interferogram can be converted into DEM, at the interferometric side, you just need one or two GCPs functioned as elevation datum, and I think your data is fulfill this kind of operation, you can use HH and HV data of pre disaster images to create pre disaster DEM, HH and HV data of post disaster images to create post disaster DEM, and then compare both of them to calculate the sediment,
-
I cant help if it was interferometric DEM that u want to extract, yes, Stereoscopic DEM extraction need at least two SAR images covering the same area but at different angle, and interferometric DEM need at least two SAR data that have different phase or polarization (CMIIW), I dont have any experiences about interferometric processing, but ERDAS Imagine have module and tool to do it, IMAGINE INSAR, have you look it?
-
you want to do stereoscopic or interferometric DEM extraction mod ? hehe

based on my experience, NDVI value is scene dependent, so it highly affected by the vegetation reflectance itself, angle of incoming irradiance, and atmosphere condition, so when you compared two images from different year, the value range of dense vegetation probably different, you can do LUT color mapping in ENVI and visual interpretation to aid the classification process, to compare the difference, you can use change detection tool from ENVI in menu Basic Tools>Change Detection>Compute Difference map, you can also calculate the differences statistics from that tool

How to remove google earth copyright texts on the images
pasfans01 replied to skylmla's topic in Remote Sensing
why not use Universal map downloader or Google map downloader instead?
