  1. Prior to determine the best interpolation method, you should reconsider significant factors that determine variation of soil properties, like geology, elevation, slope, aspect, fluvial deposit zone, colluvial deposit zone, etc, from landscape ecology and geomorphology point of view, the distribution of soil properties heavily affected by those physical factors, so for example it will be pointless to doing interpolation of soil properties when the study area itself consist of mixed terrain or different geologic formation

thats odd, RPC file shouldnt provided individually like that, in my opinion one RPC file should working for those stacked bands because there is no dimension/size differences between bands, except, it is RPC files for tiled products,
  6. check my tutorial and try to figure it by yourself, just ask if you are still confused, https://www.youtube.com/embed/bl3pYyoziU4 oh and this ismaybe didnt related to your problem but somewhat it might be related
  7. you can use portable basemap server (just google it), to convert google maps service protocol into ArcGIS REST API protocol or WMTS protocol, and then you can add it to ArcMap using WMTS connection or Add GIS server connection
  8. actually I got this knowledge after I read bunch of books uploaded in this forum , so just explore the ebooks section bruh
  9. in a short explanation you would use radiance if you only doing landuse landcover classification using hard classification (i.e nearest neighbour, paralelepiped, maximum likelihood classification) you would use reflectance if you want to extract some biophysical data from imagery spectral information (i.e vegetation water content, fPAI, percentage vegetation cover, soil moisture etc), or Landuse/landcover soft classification (i.e spectral unmixing, spectral angle mapper, artificial neural network, etc)
  10. I dont know, It Seems caching map functionality cause the tools execution respond isnt as fast as solid as responsive as arcmap
  11. im sorry dude, I never use ERDAS IMAGINE to make DEM from PRISM, but I have read it somewhere that it could works, so may be you could looks into the erdas imagine help page about it,
  12. You can look into the metadata, (LED or TRL file, I dont quite remember) if you wanna know the acquisition mode, | and the other way, you can look in its file/folder name, it is mention the acquisition mode in the filename, ENVI is only support Level 1B1, 1B2R and 1B2G of ALOS PRISM, if your data is level 1A, I suggest you to use ERDAS IMAGINE which it is fully support ALOS PRISM, include the DEM extraction
  13. guess so, it seems ESRI couldnt properly rewrite ArcGIS dekstop into native 64 bit application, and if it isnt, why dont they do that few years ago?, I think ArcGIS pro GUI is pretty intuitive and efficient, guess they are stolen some QGIS GUI ideas, just look to the map layout making, its quite similar to QGIS,
  14. ArcGIS Pro 1.2 will add "optional support" for Concurrent-Use and Single-Use licensing that does not require an ArcGIS Online (or presumably Portal for ArcGIS) account. interesting it isnt ?
  15. wah kurang tahu juga mas, kalau instansi sih kalau bukan instansi teknis macam BPN, BIG, LAPAN, keknya urusan2 itu mending diserahkan ke konsultan, mereka tinggal bayar, termasuk urusan softwarenya,
  16. Mobile topographer definitely my favorite and "must be there" tool in my phone, What else could give you precise position calculation (in GPS phone context) except thru waypoint averaging (like you will find in recent garmin receiver) ? and this tool provide it, moreover it is also support calculation based on known accurate coordinate (triangulation reference, gps station etc),
  17. hmmm yeah I guess it even not a problem if it was 16 BIT Grayscale, conversion is relative easily, though Im not so sure considering the random factor/other intermediate processing that might turn the reverse engineering into a havoc, but if its about RGB images, I dont know, the complexity and relationship between R, G, and B channel is not something could be standardized easily, it might be case by case and unique, And dont forget about image stretching consideration
  18. Mod, are you kidding me? I dont believe what I read, The mighty lurker?? You know the difference between RGB image and Gridded Image right? , the answer is simple, when you brings your data to photoshop, It will automatically read as One band monochromatic image, and after you are done messin it up, your save as execution will automatically converted it into RGB image, the pixel wont store the original elevation values instead it will save the color value applied to it when it is displayed in photoshop, and you know what will happen next in global mapper. so to be concluded, dont brings your DEM to photoshop, actually what do you want to get from bringing your DEM to photoshop? if you want to create marvelous good looking Hillshade, just make it first in proper software and then brings the hillshade result to photoshop and you could tweaks it as much as you want, still, you are not testing us right? arent you? wakakaka
  19. wow, 30 km? thats far man, just try doing orthorectification without using your own DEM, and compare the results, if without DEM result is better, your DEM might have a problem
  20. yang jelas perlu dikhawatirkan adalah "PNPB" ga resmi mod
  21. bagus sih ini, kemarin habis lihat video pesawat komersil boeing/airbus mau landing sayapnya ketabrak drone, langsung hancur tu sayap, ngeri bro
