Ternyata saat ini banyak perguruan tinggi di indonesia yang menyisipkan mata kuliah GIS di berbagai jurusan terutama di ilmu yang nyangkut kebumian. Sayangnya kalo nyemplung di dunia kerja sekarang, yang tau GIS sebagai ilmu GIS sedikit. mereka (senior dari jurusan lain) tidak memanfaatkan keunggulan dari GIS itu sendiri, mereka lebih mengenal sebagai drafter. Begitu kita nyelonong dan interupsi...GIS bisa buat analisis ini dan itu. mereka baru ngerti meski tidak sepenuhnya percaya. #pengalaman kerja dengan banyak proyek dan perusahaan.....wkwkwk

Hi all, I still wondering about how to opening older project file (*.mxd) to the new version such as project file from ArcGIS 9.1 to ArcGIS 9.3. It's very curious, in the other software new version able to open file from old version. but neither with ArcGIS....any suggestion regarding my question? Thanks a lot

FYI, my ArcGIS is original, but no full license (ArcView only)

Hi All, Very interesting topic, same as Maunaloa, I have facing problem to smoothing Z of point data, interpolate and extrapolate of blank/error recording from echosounder. on my opinion, that software which have good capability to solve above problems is Qinsy+Qloud, but unfortunatelly i not have that software. so i need your advise if there are any software which capable to solve my problems and handle huge point data and able to convert in XYZ format. Thank you
