Which one do you recommend me to use ERDAS AutoSync or Photogrammetry to orthorectify many old aerial photos ? I have about 600 of them. The aerial photos I have do not have georeferenced.

I have both ERDAS and ENVI but they are both good to have around but I find ENVI to work best when you mosaic than ERDAS. ERDAS is good for an advanced remote sensing....

I would like to create a NDVI Time Series map? How do I do that? The one I probably would like to have similar like this http://proceedings.esri.com/library/userconf/proc02/pap0593/p05931.jpg I created many NDVI for each or several months from the year of 2002 to 2013? 1) Do I need to add monthly NDVI to create an output monthly NDVI file and then the next step is to take new output monthly NDVI to produce a new output one year file? (or) 2) Add all the NVDI from one year to generate a new output for one year file ? The NDVI were produced from an ASTER.

I am using Windows 7 SP 1 and I did repair the installation as well.

Does anyone in here have an issue with KML to Layer ? My ArcGIS at work and home failed and produced nothing. Is there a bug for that ? I am using ArCGIS 10.1 SP 1 Build 3143 ? It looks like my computer may have missed some latest files such as msxml or .NET framework it needs to run properly.

Simpliy add a basemap and then bring in your cadstral map with satellite image in too and then zoom in the area with the basemap and then use "Fit to Display" to get the cadstral map with satellite image to show up and then use the Georeferencing toolbar to georeference it. Then when you are done with georeferenced save as a new file and then reprojected to your area known coordinate system.

I am not sure about this but when I browse and select one scene it should have tell you downloadable in yellow highlight however if it does not show it it means it is not downloadable and you might have to wait until later.

Has anyone tried saving an annotation file that you use it as a cutline for mosaicking in ENVI 5.0 ? It seems I was not able to do that. I have looked it around on the internet , their tutorial and the HELP online. Nothing....

I would recommend do some research on Google and type it Projection and Coordinate Sytems. Or go to ESRI 's http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.webCourseDetail&courseid=24 There are a lot of tutorials on it and you should be able to perform it.

Why do you want to process from ASTER 1 A To 1B. From what I am reading is that the ASTER Level 1B is basically covers USA and is a different sensor than Level 1A . Also, there is information about this http://asterweb.jpl.nasa.gov/OnDemand.asp and what country is that cover in ?

Hi all, I am trying to figure it out how can I take a preserved color from a raster I already set up before and then apply the colormap to a new raster file? Here are the details of what occurred: Before I export it to a Imagine file, the shade relief was in grid file and I change the color ramp and made the edits of the colors I want and save it the style in Arcmap 10. When my ArcGIS 10 was installed last December 2012 and in about a month or so my ArcGIS 10 had problem, so I had to re-install my ARCGIS 10 to correct a problem. Now that my style file I saved the color I want got lost/ or missing and could not find it. Is there a way that can I get the colors from the raster I have and to apply a new shade relief?

Hello all, Wanted to post this a question for those who have been using ERDAS 2011 a lot. I want to ask about MosaicPro. I know how to do mosaic but I use that toolbox when I had the ERDAS 9.1. Now They have upgrade to 2011 and they have change or new features in that MosaicPro. I downloaded about 12 to 15 Landsat ETM post 2006 with 6 bands cover about the state of New Mexico, USA. I am trying to mosaic all of it but they have many different colors and have line in between them. Is that a seam ? When I had the ERDAS 9.1 and use the cutline and was able to do that easy. With the MosaicPro, I dont know where the cutline are now and have a hard time to try and seamless them. Anyone out here tell me how do to do it or advice ? Thanks. Robert P

Hi from USA ! I wanted to recalcuate the "Count" column when you clip a raster and then convert it to polygon, the count column itself carrys it over from the origional raster. How do I recalculate it in the count column in the polygon ? I know you can do that from the toolbox but what about within the table ? Thanks for feedback...

Here I have 1:24,000k quads. I know how to use the word split toolbox. What I would like to split 24,000K to 1:7,500 or 6,000k. Is there a way around for me to do that ? For example,, if you have one quad that is 1:24,000 and you want to break it down to either 1:6,000 or 1:7,500 ? I have about 269 quads and need them to break down to where I want 1:6,000 or 1:7,500. I am using ArcGIS 9.3.1 .

Looks like probably one of polyline was not closed cause it to failure. Try to export it to polygon and find the error. Good luck :cool:

Problem solved. I figured it out. I did not enabled to include the No data. So if you did not, it will come out as white, so enabled it and it will come out fine.
