  1. EGM08 Geoid Model for Indonesia Posted by John Coldrick on 10 December 2012 04:48 PM FieldGenius 2012 now supports the EGM08 Indonesia Geoid Model. This EGM08 Geoid Model for Indonesia does not come installed with FieldGenius, and therefore it must be copied manually onto each data collector that you wish to use this geoid model file. Steps to Install: Click here to Download the byn file from our website and save it to your computer. Connect your data collector to your computer, and find the location where FieldGenius is stored. You will be able to find the Mapping folder in the MicroSurvey FieldGenius\Programs\Mapping folder. Copy the EGM08Indonesia.byn file that you wish to use from your computer into the MicroSurvey FieldGenius\Programs\Mapping directory on the data collector. Steps to Use the Geoid Model for Indonesia: From the Main Menu | Settings | Coordinate Systems change the Vertical Systems field to EGM08Indonesia.byn. Your GPS derived coordinates will now have orthometric heights derived from this geoid model for Indonesia. Sekedar berbagi info bagi teman2 yang tertarik dalam penggunaan GPS untuk mengukur beda tinggi (elevasi) untuk area Indonesia Thanks to : john Coldrick yang sudah berbagi Semoga bermanfaat

MehrdadRafiepour replied on August 10, 2013 Hi.......I had this problem too....I downloaded Office System Driver by following address http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=23734 after it I deleted 'GxObjFactCache.dat' by following instroction 1. Close all ArcGIS applications - ArcMap and ArcCatalog. 2. Open Windows Explorer and browse to \Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\ESRI\ArcCatalog ** 3. Delete the "GxObjFactCache.dat" file This file will be re-created next time ArcCatalog starts. and then it worked well...
