DEM filtering Algorithm

Hi,

I have a sample DEM that has been generalized and filtered but keeping the sharpness of features. I have tried all filters i know but i couldn't replicate it. I would like to see if someone knows how to do it.

I’ve seen similar results in SAGA GIS using the “Multi Direction Lee Filter” tool.

Hi Jae0,

 

I tried the algorithm, it smooths the DEM but its not anything like the sample. The texture in the sample is very smooth and shiny, as if it is polished. I hope someone knows how we can accomplish it.
