michaeledsome
Hello I have a merged geotiff image from a drone survey i conducted with about 2000 images to create a georeferenced image. The drones camera (DJI Phantom 3 Pro) has an onboard GPS (non RTK) but i have taken some GCP after processing and wanted to update the geotiff with the GCP coords. The XY is easy to reproject but how can i or what software can i use to shift the elevation (Z values) for the geotiff? Michael
superspack
Hi Michael, To do get a good result you've got to calculate a othofotomosaic. Good software to do this are agisoft photoscan or bentley context capture. Only thing which is important for those programms: your images have to have 60% / 60% or more overlap! Capricorn
michaeledsome, You are at good position because you have your own drone and you can make images again as superspack said. Is your merged geotiff image completely plain, I mean no z coordinates at all? If so, and someone gets finished plain geotiff (with no chance to make images again himself), that would be real challenge. Is it possible at all? Using Map Algebra in ArcGIS?
