I have a contour map in .pdf file and I would like to import this map in ArcGIS.I have tried with Arcscan and it only gives the geographic coordinate.Therefore i should input the elevation data 1 by 1 on every line. Question : is it possible to get elevation data from the pdf?or is it another software to convert the pdf?
