Lurker
related to my prev post here : http://gisarea.com/gis-discussion/what-are-the-deprecation-plans-for-arcgis-9-3-1-and-arcgis-9-4/ ESRI announce change of the deprecation plan, that can be see here : [hide] http://downloads2.esri.com/support/TechArticles/ArcGIS10and101Deprecation_Plan.pdf [/hide] Here is the updated text from the deprecation document: "ArcGIS 10.0 was the last release of ArcIMS; we will no longer ship ArcIMS in releases after ArcGIS 10.0. With the adoption of ArcGIS Server and the move to 64-bit servers, ArcIMS is no longer the recommended product for producing web maps. While no longer shipped as part of ArcGIS, the current version of ArcIMS (version 10.0) will be continued to be supported as part of the ArcGIS 10.0 lifecycle." ArcGIS 10.0 ArcIMS lifecycle can be see here ; [hide] http://downloads2.esri.com/support/product%20life%20cycle/server_gis/ArcIMS_PLC.pdf [/hide] bye bye ArcIMS  :embarrassed:

neotoxin
I thought arcims have been abandoned in 10. I've been with arcims since v3 but it is just too slow for todays requirement. ArcGIS Server is welcomed (thanks for the caching capability)
