Lurker
for the first time, there is no arcgis for Mac, so you come into two possibilities : 1. install windows as a virtual machines (guest os) 2. install windows as dual boot http://edcommunity.esri.com/software-and-data/mac-os-support for ENVI, I saw ENVI for Mac installer, so if you have the license, you just install native .pkg ENVI into your mac, quite straight forward for this
3dbu
mshakir, i have 8 year using the mac OS X and i recommended that get a virtual soft the best of all is Parallels, and install W8 or W10...then install the ArcGIS version desired ....is the better way that make a partition with bootcamp because split the HD en 2 partitions and then is complicated to recover all....i buy the last Apple device MackBook ultra slim and i'm in the process to install so, i prefer to use parallels than other cause it worked better and is powerful, luck with that process and at the end is better apple OS X that the slow and nasty Windows , regards
intertronic
hi, try this : 1. Oracle Virtual Machine (free) https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads 2. Install Windows 7 (IE is a official window free vm version) https://dev.modern.ie/tools/vms/windows/ 3. Look for ArcGIS Trial or a license in gisarea :-)
