Greg_gis Posted June 6, 2015 Report Share Posted June 6, 2015 Hi, I am working on a map with 36 000 polygons (the cities of France), and I need to dissolve 5 000 of them into bigger polygons. I did the same for smaller maps and my computer (amd-a6 1,4GHz) took some minutes to do the job. With this map, a all night wasn't enough, and after 8 hours, I don't know if it is still working or lost in the matrix lol. So, is someone ready to help me and do the operation ? This Problem is very common with a huge files with thousands polygons, for me first check the topology this file perhaps as a soft ArcInfo Workstation!!!!
