Reyalino
Dear GIS Area, I have topobathy data as TIN, and I would like to calculate the volume of the bathymetry area (elevation below 0 meter). I use the surface volume tool in arcgis to calculate the volume and set the reference plane as "below" and set the plane height as "0" . Does the tool also calculates the topo area which is also has z below the 0 or only calculate the bathymetry area ? Could somebody help me to explain ? I have look the explanation on this official website http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/How_Surface_Volume_works/00q900000037000000/but I'am still confused with it. Thanks
