darksabersan
Hi guys, I facing an issue by using MapGuide Maestro. I installed MapGuideOpenSource 2.6.0.8316 x64 and MapGuideMaestro Release 6.0a3. When I started MapGuide Maestro a first window info appear and say: By default, I say YES, then I create my folder and I add my shapefile resource, double click on my layer and in order to modifed my feature representation and labels like below. When I click on previous resource icon, this error message show up. Somebody have an idea? I follow the tutorial Gordon Luckett from Lynda.com and even with his data, I have that problem. Found several other video online and look around for a solution but nothing relevant. Thank you in advance. darksabersan.
darksabersan
OK, I found why I had that Input String message error. You have to go in: Control Pane >> Region and Language >> Formats >> choose English (United States) I think the most important thing is to have the good numbers format in order to match the app. Only one point is that the Tooltip didn't show the name when I'm moving my mousse arrow over the symbol. Maybe someone know? darksabersan.
Lurker
ah yep when string error occured, the common problem is non standard language and keyboard setting on your windows about tooltip, maybe you miss configuration on maestro
darksabersan
Well, the point is that I'm following the tutorial really carefully and no mention about tooltip or extra step to do in between. But maybe it because I'm using a virtual machine and it's render properly on the window. darksabersan.
