surveyor06
Hi all, I have lidar raw data, in .SCN file format, scanned by Leica ALS60 device. I have simultaneous GPS surveys and GCP coordinates too. But I don't know how I can process that raw data and convert to .LAS or .XYZ formats. If somebody know how to process it, please help me. darksabersan
Hi surveyor06, According to the ALS60 Product Specification Manual in Page 4: http://www.leica-geosystems.com/downloads123/zz/airborne/als60/product-specification/ALS60_ProductSpecs_en.pdf You be able to use Additional Software ( ALS Post Processor) that is include with the system to transform your data in an other format like *.XYZ and *.LAS. Hope that help you. darksabersan. Edited February 8, 2014 by darksabersan
osurv
Hi Surveyor06, You will need more than the ALS PP software to make the las file. You will also need the IPAS blended solution file that is made up of the GPS solution (base and rover trajectory solution) and the IMU data. This position file and the .scn (raw laser file) are then combined in ALS PP to output the las file. osurv
surveyor06
Thanks @darksabersan, and @osurv, I have learned processsing steps. But first I need to find Leica's IPAS solution. Anybody know how I can find it?
