Amtrend
Any recommendations for Windows PC's with active digitizers? (Also welcome general discussin of active digitizers.) I've got a couple Yiynova MVP22U's. They are just digitizer/displays. Looking for an ultrabook to velco to the back to make them more portable. Thought about the upcoming Intel NUC or Gigabyte Brix but an ultrabook might be a better value (plus built-in screen, keyboard, etc. for separate use). Given the weight and size of the Yiynovas, I'll probably just go for a notebook with a Wacom or Ntrig digitizer. I've got a Gateway C140XL w Wacom but it is a 2007 model so looking to replace it. The new Sony Vaio Flip 15 looks promising. Any suggestions/thoughts?
rahmansunbeam
hi Amtrend, what about the mighty Surface ? the Pro series has quite a charm which can be used for graphics-heavy tasks; but no GPS inside. I have a Note 10.1, with GLONASS- yes its a charming device. For surveyors and GIS enthusiasts, try these,
Amtrend
Surface is no doubt nice but I'm looking for something with a larger and higher resolution screen. The ThinkPad Yoga and Sony Vaio Flip models look promising but looks like I'll have to wait a few weeks for availability.
