group5e
I wonder when they are going to revamp their interface? It seems that they may soon be heading in that direction. I would also like more detail about the *new* capabilities of ArcGIS 10.2. I have 10.1 and still have to use other software in conjunction with ArcGIS to get the job done sometimes... and I shouldn't when we pay close to $7,000... Lurker
from 10 to 10.1 and 10.2 would be no huge differences between them IMHO, but for version 11, that would be different story, since its different major version, btw nice post rahmansunbeam, finally they will have 64bit software LOL ArcGIS Desktop for Professionals (v11)- brand new software- integrated with online- x64- fast 3d/2d graphics engine; integrated- single multi-threaded application; a fusion of map/catalog/globe/scene- simple contextual UI (think Office 2013)- project centric workflows- simple search and query- simple data management- map layouts enhanced- powerful analytics- help system- integrated with ESRI solutions- simple extension models and developer APIs include Python and .NET- linked views- multiple views- host testing this year- not built on ArcGIS Runtime but shares code/features I wonder when they release this version?
