PROBERT
Hi from USA ! I wanted to recalcuate the "Count" column when you clip a raster and then convert it to polygon, the count column itself carrys it over from the origional raster. How do I recalculate it in the count column in the polygon ? I know you can do that from the toolbox but what about within the table ? Thanks for feedback... yousef2233
the simplest way i think : divide area of polygon by (pixelsize * pixelsize)

3dbu
i think if you cut the raster i think that the soft automatic recalcule the count for this new area...chek this is not necessary to recalculate. regards

He wants count column from clipped raster to be displayed in polygon shapefile may be. He can also use JOIN if that was his purpose.
