Lurker
The new version of the popular mapping software provides a complete multi-year library of topographic maps and aerial photographs as well as up-to-date road and street networks. Professionals, from foresters to realtors to search-and-rescue teams and scientists, can now view multiple editions of aerial photographs, dating from 2003 to the most current, and topographical maps, including the original United States Geological Survey (USGS) topographic maps and more than 14,000 topo maps enhanced and updated by MyTopo. The new imagery library will help researchers analyze and record changes due to fires, floods, droughts and development projects. Shape file data, geo-tagged photos, field notes, and GPS tracks and waypoints can be imported and overlaid into Terrain Navigator Pro to further record change. In addition, Terrain Navigator Pro 9.1 allows users to create professional maps with advanced print and publishing capability, and to seamlessly link any map location to driving directions, weather reports, time zone information and aggregated content from sites such as Flickr.com, Geocaching.com and TrimbleOutdoors.com. Users can also order waterproof or banner-sized professionally-printed maps using MyTopo's print-on-demand service. source : [hide] www.mytopo.com [/hide]
