makreal
Simple online tool to extract the elevation points. http://www.zonums.com/online/equery.php Steps: 1) Copy/paste your data (lat lon or X Y) on left area or... Open a text file (txt, tab, csv) 2) Define Input coordinate system & Format 3) Click the "Query Elevation" button to get Elevations 4) Define Output coordinate system 5) Select Output File Format 6) Choose Elevation Units 7) Click the "Export" button You can repeat steps 4 to 7 without querying again. It might take up to a second per point location.

jorge10980
These are all for the elevation of points. Do you know how to extract the elevation data from an area say 10 square miles?
imiltopnem
You can check here for five free DEM download sites. I would recommend SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission). You can download 30m resolution over your area of interest. I did one recently but resample from the site to 10m before downloading. All the best Edited August 24, 2019 by imiltopnem
