Lurker Posted November 22, 2011 Report Share Posted November 22, 2011 The Esri Mobile team announced it has released an update to the ArcGIS for Android application that you can download from the Google market. According to the announcement, this update includes support for devices which have ARMv6 processors running Android OS v2.2 and above. Esri reported it's been their biggest request and opens up the application to many more devices. With the myriad of Android devices in existence, Esri reports they are unable to test all devices, and request that users contact them with any problems that users encounter. Esri reports that they've added support for moving the app to an SD Card. Additional highlights of this update are: Add photo button option for when you are adding attachments to features Improving support for displaying text in multiple languages Improved support for ArcGIS online maps and ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 Bug fixes to avoid errors, freezes and crashes that were reported by you via the Android Market.
