Hello again, just found this news, interesting

E3De. Discover the next dimension of your data.

e3de_workflow_img1.jpg

E3De™ is an interactive geospatial software environment that allows you to create powerful, photorealistic 3D visualizations and easily extract important features and products from LiDAR data. This important information can now conveniently be included in your geospatial analysis projects like, viewshed studies, forest inventories, right-of-way analyses, and urban planning. With E3De, you can quickly prepare your data, accurately extract features, fine-tune your results, and export your products for further analysis.

Professionals across industries use LiDAR data to enhance their understanding of the geospatial information they use to make critical decisions. Whether applying LiDAR data to civil planning, natural resource management, geological exploration, or defense and intelligence, E3De allows users utilize LiDAR data to create photorealistic 3D visualizations, extract 3D features, and export products and layers.

The E3De Feature Analysis Workflow

The E3De workflow allows you to transform your point cloud data and extract essential information for your geospatial applications. Discover the intuitive steps of E3De analysis workflow:

IAS. Get Geospatial Imagery Where and When You Need It

IAS. Get Geospatial Imagery Where

and When You Need It

In defense and intelligence, imagery is information. As applications for geospatial imagery evolve, so too does the need to efficiently manage and deliver imagery to the people who need it most. Whether it is access to existing base maps, or to imagery that is only minutes old, missions are often dependent on the situational awareness those products provide.

This need is particularly important in enterprise environments, where key imagery products fundamental for decision making – which are growing in size as image resolution, the number of bands, and the number of sensors increase – need to be accessed by an increasingly multifaceted network of users.

Image Access Solutions.

Image Access Solutions (IAS) is a COTS image dissemination platform that allows you to deliver and visually exploit geospatial imagery data where and when your users need it – quickly and easily. IAS combines advanced image compression and delivery technologies to provide imagery intelligence products in seconds, not hours – even over constrained bandwidths, with no loss of resolution.

And, tactical recipients can begin exploring images almost immediately over existing communications links to a variety of clients, including handheld devices, allowing them to quickly focus in on areas of interest for the most time-sensitive operations.

What's New in IAS 2.1

Support for Basic Vector Feature Data

Sometimes just getting an image to the field isn’t all of the intelligence needed. An analyst may want to mark up an image by drawing a polygon or a line to indicate an Area of Interest (AOI). These vector features need to be delivered to the end user in the field with the image data.

By registering features with the IAS server, you can now stream point, line, or polygon features with your imagery.

The IAS Viewer has been updated to overlay the feature data on the image display. New controls allow you to change properties of the features and turn on or off the feature layers.

The feature data is stored as GeoJSON, and a utility to generate GeoJSON from Shapefiles is provided.

Convert NITF Metadata to GML

As GML adoption grows, some users prefer GML metadata over NITF metadata. A schema and conversion utility have been created and included with IAS to allow NITF metadata to be converted to GML. The GML can be registered to stream with an image so that, to a client, the received data looks like a GMLJP2 file.

IAS is Now OGC Compliant

The Web Coverage Service (WCS) in IAS, which enables a non-JPIP enabled client to request coverages from your raw data within a given file, has been officially certified by OGC to the 1.0 level, thus ensuring interoperability with other systems and reducing your technical risk.

“This product conforms to the OGC® Web Coverage Service Implementation, Revision 1.0.0. OGC, OGC®, and CERTIFIED OGC COMPLIANT are trademarks or registered trademarks of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. in the United States and other countries.”

IAS Mobile Viewer for Android™
