rahmansunbeam
What is the version AG? there are many issues in AG which are solved in services packs, try one of them or try increasing the resolution/ changing file format or make sure nothing is on that symbol- say table or another transparent symbol. PROBERT
thouseefgis, It could be many things can happen, I have had that issues but I experiment and figure it out. many different ways. Which way did you export the file from Data View or Layout View ? That could be the reason. If you are in the Layout View, be sure your data are within the margins. If it is outside, it will ignore it. So from my expereince, I had to try to do different resolution, file format, and the margins. Can you display the picture for us to see so we know what you were trying to say. Robert

pasfans01
oh also dont forget to check your memory/RAM allocation, If you running many software at same time while you re exporting your map in arcmap, its likely your arcmap is almost running out of memory, so it can't export perfectly, restart your computer, and make sure you dont open many software while you re exporting a map
