deepgis
Hello Everyone. I need someone's help to resolve my problem. I did mosaic my 27 images in Arcmap using New mosaic data set tool. When I opened the output mosaic image in Arcmap 10, everything goes fine but when I open the same image in Erdas 2011 the file pixle value 255 and LUT value 255 show 0 histogram and image display with black spots. How can I resolve this problem?
rahmansunbeam
hmm. I too face the same problem. Whenever I open an Imagine file in ArcMap, the image is not right and vice versa. I think its ArcMap doing all the wrong. I suggest you use either one of the software. Dont swich. Or, (I am not sure) try to save it as geotiff to open in Erdas. Lurker
incompatibility format data I guess, have you try to convert it to IMG format ?
deepgis
Respected Lurker, my output mosaic image is in esri grid format. But I exported this mosaic image in erdas imagine (i.e. .img format) to open this image in erdas 2011 for my analysis purposes. I also converted this .img format in Geotiff format. But I am facing the same problem. Kindly suggest me the solution.
pasfans01
I found similar problems, in my experience, it happen when we open very big image in ERDAS, and its not only happen in GLT viewer, but also other viewer like virtual GIS, mosaic Pro, etc, maybe it related with "fix or patch" that we are used ??
