How to Classify from these sample in Ecognition

I am studying about Ecognition at Chapter: Creatting Samples base on Shapefile.
When i finish creat these samples from vector (thematic layer: Shapefile). Now, How to classify image base on samples? if someone know that. Please help me! Thank you very much.

Hi All,
I'm a final year student at the University of Mauritius.
I am doing my research project on "how to find the shortest possible route between 2 areas of the Island of Mauritius using GIS"
I am rather new to GIS but from what i have read, this can be done.
What i have is ArcGIS 10.1 and a set of Aerial Imagery (provided by the University) which is in some hundreds of tiles of .ecw , .ers and .eww
What I have been able to do by now is to load these tiles in ArcCatalog 10.1.

Select and process random subsets of raster DEM

Dear all,
I have been attempting to do this for several days without any result.
I have a raster DEM (in a WGS84 coordinate system) and I would like to extract random square subsets (of a chosen size) of this raster for processing.
What I have done so far is generate a set of random points within the raster extent, create circular buffers around those points and convert these buffers into square buffers using the Feature to Envelope tool. I then use ArcPy to bath clip the raster based on the

Hi guys,
Anybody using Idrisi Taiga?
I have a raster columns x rows = 360 x 200
Pixel resolution is = 1 x 0.85929649 degree
How can I change the raster to,
columns and rows = 360 x 180
Pixel resolution = 1 x 1 degree
