Polymaps: JavaScript library for image and vector-tiled maps using SVG
By rahmansunbeam,
Polymaps is a JavaScript library for generating “slippy” maps in the style of Google Maps, Modest Maps, CloudMade and OpenLayers.
Most mapping libraries focus on 256×256-pixel image tiles, with only limited support for dynamic overlays such as county boundaries and point clouds. These libraries assume that data needed to produce the desired overlay can be loaded into memory all-at-once, making it difficult to visualize large datasets. Furthermore, while image tiles automatically adjust in re

Topographic correction
By rutekboss,
Hi!
I'm trying to perform some topo correction on Landsat TM and ETM+ data using ASTER DEM (30m) or SRTM DEM (90m). I already used Atcor 3 module for Erdas 2013. But i'm not satisfied with results (it performs topo and atmospheric correction, but I need only topographic).
Can You recommend me some software or a method to make topographic correction? I made a script in python for DOS atmospheric correction (its best in my case, i'm going to make change detection on vegetation indices) and its a

Export orthos with arcgis like Global Mapper does?
By panos78,
At the moment I am using Global Mapper + a custom fishnet in order to export (download) orthos from a WMS Server.
I just select the polygons and exporting them in GeoTIFF.
I was wondering if there is a similar process that I can use in ArcGIS 9+ 10+, in order to do the same thing?
If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know!
