hi friends. i have a problem my layers not overlaying. i guess its all about projection and coordinate systems. this topic really confuses me. i have googled it but i dont get clear info.

Hello all,
I recently applied for a GIS tech position and got a response saying that on a certain day and time I will receive a technical exam that should be completed within 1 hour and sent back to that company. If the exam is sucesfull i then will have to pass a competency questions some other day and finally an in person interview.
So my question is has anyone had something similar before where a company emails you technical exam? what should i expect?

Sorry Folks to make this is a topic.
I may not have all ideas about of this forum as well as geo-informatics terminologies however observing many questions in fact feel not relevant to ask/post without knowing basics. Definitely newbies can seek guideline how to start but if the question is like:
- Which interpolation method is good for surface generation? Which one will be good for contour generation? etc.
