Landsat 5 Thermal Band - Temporal Analysis
By Athila,
Hi,
I´m trying to do some temporal analysis using band 6 from landsat 5. I have two scenes: one from november 1989 and another from november 2005. Does anyone knows whether atmospheric corrections are sufficient enough to do such analysis? In my view, the biggest problem would be to quantify the temperature differences pixel-by-pixel, since the downwelling and upwelling radiant energy will be different, even if just a little bit, thus affecting my results.
If so, what would be the best

Access DB - Host online? Best approach
By Peeledpotato,
Dear Colleagues,
My wife recently started working for a property broker as an intern. They have asked me to look at a database they have been building for the last couple of years. the database is in Access format and has a number of forms which they use to update the db. I have not worked with Access before as I am primarily a shapefile person who has a leaning towards spatialite. The db has a column referencing a well known local spatial data set so I should be able to map the data easily
World Cities Map
By 946,
Hi all,
Does one of you have some information about some shp/kmz /gdb files that contains the administrative boundaries of the major cities of the world?
I have seen and worked with this data a few years ago, but I am not able to find it anymore. It should be around 2500 shapes.(I have the centroids but not the areas)
Thanks!!
