Shifting Elevation data from a geotiff image
By michaeledsome,
Hello
I have a merged geotiff image from a drone survey i conducted with about 2000 images to create a georeferenced image. The drones camera (DJI Phantom 3 Pro) has an onboard GPS (non RTK) but i have taken some GCP after processing and wanted to update the geotiff with the GCP coords. The XY is easy to reproject but how can i or what software can i use to shift the elevation (Z values) for the geotiff?

Very High Resolution Georeferenced Satellite Image
By ajaysbharadwaj,
High resolution satellite images are of utmost importance in many RS and GIS studies. However high resolution images are not available for free of cost. Hence it is often beyond reach for student and research community. While using google earth images for this purpose, often we end up in accuracy issues while carrying out georeferencing. This tutorial explains a method using Elshayal Smart GIS Application to download already georeferenced Very High Resolution Google Earth Image.
